Celebrate International Education Week!
International Education Week is an annual celebration during which University of Minnesota colleges, campuses, and student groups plan events and activities to highlight the University's support of international education. In celebration of International Education Week Monday, Nov. 18-Friday, Nov. 22, CSE International Programs will offer a variety of informational events and giveaways during the week.

Learn about an opportunity for CSE first-year students to join other Big Ten STEM students in beautiful Dublin for seven weeks during the summer of 2025 while fulfilling Physics II (PHYS 1302) and liberal education requirements in Historical Perspectives and Global Perspectives. You will also hear from past participants about their experiences in this program.

Interested in learning more about study abroad opportunities in CSE? Attend this general study abroad overview for CSE students to explore different program types, popular destinations, costs, scholarships and more. Plus, hear from CSE study abroad alumni about how they navigated international learning, lived abroad and the impact it had on them. If you’re considering studying abroad, this is the perfect first step.
CSE students are invited to meet past study abroad participants and current international students studying at UMN this semester. Hear about their experiences and connect with new people. Games and international snacks will be available.
Free passport photos during International Education Week
The College of Science and Engineering will pay for a set of passport photos for up to 50 currently enrolled CSE undergraduate students.
- Must be a currently enrolled CSE undergraduate student.
- Limited to the first 50 CSE students who attend a CSE Abroad event during International Education Week, scan the QR code, and provide their details.
- Instructions will be emailed to the students on how to redeem their free passport photos at the UMN Passport Office.
