First-year students: Learn about studying in Ireland this summer at an information session on Wednesday, Oct. 11

Learn about an opportunity for CSE first-year students to join other Big Ten STEM students in beautiful Dublin for seven weeks in summer 2024 while fulfilling Physics II (PHYS 1302) and liberal education requirements (Historical Perspectives and Global Perspectives). An informational session is planned for Wednesday, Oct. 11, 1:30-2:30 p.m., Walter Library, Room 101.

Ireland Summer Session for First-Year CSE Students Info Session
Wednesday, Oct. 11, 2023
1:30-2:30 p.m.
Walter Library, Room 101

This unique summer program is designed in partnership with University College Dublin (UCD), and serves students from Big Ten institutions. Students take courses taught by UCD faculty, including second year physics and a Modern Ireland course.

Housing and a “Monday to Friday” two meals per day plan are provided by UCD.

Tentative travel dates
: Late-May through mid-July, 2024
Eligible students: Open to CSE first-year students. Admission is by application.
