International Education Week is an annual celebration during which University of Minnesota colleges, campuses, and student groups plan events and activities to highlight the University's support of international education. In celebration of International Education Week Monday, Nov. 13-Friday, Nov. 17, CSE International Programs will offer a variety of informational events and giveaways during the week.

Mechatronics in Switzerland

Looking for something to do in May 2024? Come learn about this 3-week program in Switzerland that is a specialized, concise course in mechatronics. Past excursions have included the Swiss Alps, Zürich, and Geneva. For additional information, visit the Switzerland global seminar webpage.
Free passport photos during International Education Week
The College of Science and Engineering will pay for a set of passport photos for up to 50 currently enrolled CSE undergraduate students.
- Must be a currently enrolled CSE undergraduate student who needs passport photos
- Photos must be taken during International Education Week, Monday, Nov. 13-Friday, Nov. 17, 2023
- Limited to the first 50 CSE students who contact CSE International Programs at cseabroad@umn.edu.
- Instructions will be emailed to the students on how to redeem their free passport photos at the UMN Passport Office.
Passport office on campus
Did you know there is a passport office on campus? The UMN Passport Office offers passport photos and first-time passport applicants can apply and submit materials there. Find out more about applying for a passport.
The UMN Passport Office is open Monday–Friday, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m (closed on UMN holidays) and is located in the University International Center. Appointments are required. To schedule an appointment visit the UMN Passport Office website or call 612-625-5186.
