Stressing over tests, lab reports, papers, and everything else going on right now? This time of the semester is a stressful time for everyone, and it's normal to feel overwhelmed or anxious. If you or someone you know is dealing with mental health issues, there are multiple resources available to help.

The 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline, previously known as the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline, is a national network of more than 200 crisis centers that helps thousands of people overcome crisis situations every day. Calling or texting 988 will connect people with trained state and local mental health professionals who can provide support and appropriate resources to individuals in emotional distress or suicidal crisis.

People can also dial 988 if they are worried about a loved one who may need crisis support.

The National Suicide Prevention Lifeline phone number, 800-273-8255, continues to function and routes callers in the same way.

Please visit the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline website for more information and additional resources.

Mixed race, QTIPOC, and trans-racial adopted folks are welcomed into the space. The group is open to University students  staff, and faculty.
