Update your EGT in MyU
It is important that you check your Expected Graduation Term (EGT) in the MyU portal to be sure it is correct.
If you are nearing graduation, be sure to prepare for the final steps of your academic experience by following the instructions on the Graduation steps webpage.
You are eligible to participate in the Spring 2024 Commencement Ceremony if you graduated or have an EGT in one of the following terms:
- Summer 2023
- Fall 2023
- Spring 2024
- May/Summer 2024
- Fall 2024
Future communication about Commencement will be sent to those with EGT dates as listed above.

Students who are eligible to participate in Commencement 2024, will receive details during spring semester on how to register for the ceremony through our Commencement Ceremony software platform, called MarchingOrder. You will receive reminders and additional information about Commencement throughout the semester through MarchingOrder.
