Apply for the MSPE scholarship for engineering students by Friday, May 3

The Traverse Des Sioux Chapter of the Minnesota Society of Professional Engineers (MSPE) is offering a $1,000 scholarship to engineering students who will be juniors or seniors in 2024-25 and have a permanent address in one of the chapter's 17 counties. Apply by Friday, May 3.

Applications are now being accepted for the 2024-25 Traverse Des Sioux Chapter of the Minnesota Society of Professional Engineers scholarships for engineering students.

Eligibility:
  • Applicants must be full-time students enrolled in an engineering program and have a permanent address within one of the 17 Traverse Des Sioux counties (Blue Earth, Brown, Cottonwood, Faribault, Freeborn, Jackson, Le Sueur, Martin, McCleod, Nicollet, Nobles, Rice, Rock, Sibley, Steele, Waseca, Watonwan).
  • Applicants must be juniors or seniors for the 2024-25 academic year.
Selection criteria:

Criteria used by the scholarship committee as the basis for selecting the scholarship recipients includes, but is not limited to: 

  • Activities, work experience, and honors
  • Essay 
  • Letter of recommendation
  • GPA
  • Financial need
Scholarship awards are $1,000 per recipient.

Applications must be submitted by mail and must be postmarked by the Friday, May 3, 2024 deadline.
