The University of Minnesota Office for Equity and Diversity offers Campus Climate micro-grants to students, faculty, and staff within the University of Minnesota community to secure funding for new or existing projects that actively contribute to enhancing our campus climate. These grants are dedicated to creating a University environment where diversity, equity, and inclusion are not just values but lived experiences.

Made possible with support from the Office of the President, the grants range from $500-$1,200 for University individuals or groups to develop a project that aligns with the University's mission to create a more inclusive and welcoming campus.

Aligning with the theme "Engage. Energize. Empower," the grants are intended to empower the community to effect positive change in response to insights gathered from the 2023 Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Campus Climate Survey.

The application deadline is Thursday, March 7, with funding notifications anticipated by Monday, April 15.
